Who I.G.C. is and what it takes on
Itumeleng Gauta Consortium was founded in 2017 as a South African multidisciplinary firm providing engineering, advisory, contracting and general trade solutions to public and private sector organisations.
A partner for operational and procurement work
I.G.C. combines evidence-based analysis, sector knowledge and practical delivery, which is how it develops solutions that are implementable and aligned with the client's own operating environment.
The firm draws on capability across strategy, economics, law, engineering, finance and the sciences, and applies that combined view to engineering assignments, advisory engagements, contracting requirements, business development and supply needs.

Vision and mission
These are the statements I.G.C. publishes for itself.
To be a trusted and innovative leader in technical and strategic advisory, engineering and contracting, driving progress and sustainability through responsible practice, engineering technology and forward-thinking solutions.
To responsibly develop and deliver business and technical solutions that support progress, respond to evolving client needs and contribute to a more sustainable future.
How the work is organised
Engineering, Construction & Industrial
Engineering and contracting work is scoped before it can be priced, so an enquiry here starts with the requirement, the site and the programme.
General Trade
General trade covers requirements that fall outside the four named divisions, where the item has to be sourced against a specification and delivered to an approved order.
Responsible delivery is part of the work
I.G.C. treats health, safety and environmental responsibility as integral to how it works, with the aim of protecting people, communities and the environment while holding operational standards.
